We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in shaping winning bids for large-scale electrical projects. In this position, you'll collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to deliver accurate, competitive proposals that drive success. What You'll Do

• Lead Estimation Efforts : Review plans, specs, and bid documents to create comprehensive proposals.
• Drive Accuracy : Perform electrical take-offs using Accubid and validate measurements and quantities.
• Collaborate & Negotiate : Communicate with clients to clarify scope, resolve deficiencies, and negotiate pricing.
• Optimize Costs : Identify value engineering opportunities and job-specific conditions affecting labor and materials.
• Manage Vendors : Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure Quality : Detect inconsistencies in bid documents and propose proactive solutions.
• Mentor & Train : Assist in developing junior estimators and review their work for accuracy.
• Stay Ahead : Track market pricing, competitor activity, and industry trends.
• Lead Meetings : Coordinate bid closure sessions and present bid status at kickoff and closeout meetings.

What We're Looking For

Proven track record in electrical estimating and construction management.

Proficiency in Accubid and familiarity with Bluebeam.

Viewpoint bid tracking and Microsoft Office Suite.

Solid understanding of electrical systems and construction methods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00 / yr.

paid holidays and PTO; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401k plan and Employee Assistance Program.

This is a hybrid position in Portland,OR.
