Security Officer - Transit Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Transit Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

DayTime Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
