Package Printing Supervisor

Job Description Job Description JOB IS IN THE RALEIGH AREA. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG.PROVIDED. Premier package printing company in the Raleigh, NC region is searching to hire a Night Shift Folding Supervisor to oversee high speed folding operations. Responsibilities include : Direct, lead and monitor miniature folding operations on 2nd or 3 shifts. Responsible for quality and on-time production of miniature folded products. Ensure that Continuous Improvement Practices are adhered to and monitored. Use Continuous Improvement Practices to improve efficiencies and reduce down time and waste. Make decisions based on metrics and KPIs. Work with co-department managers, sales and shipping to ensure products are produced on time meeting and / or exceeding client expectations. Qualifications include : Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience managing bindery, finishing or high speed mini-folding operations. Working knowledge of miniature literature folding operations a plus. Proven track record using Lean Mfg. or Continuous Improvement Practices effectively in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in pharmaceutical packaging industry a plus. Excellent employee relationship, mentoring and team building skills. Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts (they do not rotate). Excellent communication skills. PC proficient.
