Skills

  • Proven experience as Physician Assistant in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Team spirit with a positive attitude
  • Orders and / or prescribes non controlled substances for inpatients / outpatients.
  • Participates in other necessary activities associated with patient care (writing daily progress notes, coordinating clinical care, discharge planning, etc.).
  • Recognizes need for physician consultation and guidance as indicated within experience and scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensing required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
