This is a remote position.
Full-Time : Monday - Thursday, 6am to 5pm; potential overtime may be required based on inventory needs.
Process medical record requests by communicating with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys regarding the status of records.
Document information using multiple platforms while managing two computer monitors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) is required.
Your Responsibilities :
Accurately enter data as directed by your team lead.
Process electronic medical records remotely through various EMR systems.
Work independently while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.
Report any technical issues immediately.
Meet key performance metrics, including Charts Per Hour (CPH) and attendance standards.
Participate actively in all assigned trainings.
Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPPAA regulations and safeguard patient rights.
Thoroughly read documentation and follow written instructions for accurate job execution.
Report any security breaches or unsafe behaviors observed.
Foster a quality-focused service environment.
Ensure deadlines are met and respond promptly to requests for information.
Adhere to all company policies.
Assist with new hire training and support special projects as assigned.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in a constructive manner.
Listen to and consider suggestions for improvement positively.
What You Bring :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a healthcare environment or in the release of information is preferred.
Two years of EMR-related experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of accurate data entry processes and office equipment.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on finding acceptable solutions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle high volumes of work.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Experience working in diverse teams within a remote, cross-departmental setting.
Consistent achievement of productivity, attendance, and behavior standards.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.

The estimated pay range for this role is : $16.90 - $18.90 USD per hour.
