[job_card.job_description]High School Diploma preferred. Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations. Previous experience in the Dietary Department of a Long Term Care Facility preferred. Ability to speak read and write English. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Must possess sight / hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.

- Ability to serve food in a gracious and sanitary manner : to set up and maintain the orderly appearance of the dining room; and to assist in minor food preparation.
- Ability to serve food from a tray or cart in a gracious manner. This includes the ability to announce menu selections.
- Ability to follow Residents' Rights policies at all times. This includes the ability to maintain the confidentiality of resident care information.
