Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician with strong technical expertise in telecommunications and security systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with project teams. This role requires on-site work across various locations in the Los Angeles area.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and assemble telecommunications and security systems, including :
• Public Address (PA) systems
• LAN and VoIP systems
• Analog telephony
• Intrusion alarm systems
• CCTV systems
• Survey legacy PA, PBX, and intrusion alarm systems to assess upgrade and integration needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment across telecom and security infrastructure.
• Program and test systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with requirements.
• Plan, analyze, and coordinate equipment needs for assigned sites.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to establish project priorities and timelines.
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and documentation.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with internal teams and external partners.
• Set priorities and complete assignments efficiently and independently.
• Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with district personnel and partner organizations.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $45 - $55 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
