Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school in Citrus Heights, CA. This full-time, direct hire role is ideal for a licensed educator with a Moderate / Severe credential. The placement could be within TK-6, TK-8, Middle School (7-8), or an adult transition setting, allowing for placement that aligns with your experience and interests.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe special needs.
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to caseloads typically capped at 12 students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and success.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain pliance with all state and federal special education laws and regulations.
