Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Professional to join our team. This position involves preparing and reviewing tax returns for clients across the United States, answering tax-related questions, and assisting with IRS letters and notices. If you’re passionate about tax preparation, love solving problems, and enjoy working directly with clients, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns across multiple states
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide clear, accurate tax advice
  • Handle IRS notices and letters, including research and client communication
  • Identify applicable deductions, credits, and planning opportunities
  • Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with federal and state laws
  • Stay current on changes to tax laws and industry best practices

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of tax preparation experience
  • Comfortable working with clients across multiple states
  • Strong understanding of federal and multi state tax law
  • Experience responding to IRS notices and audit requests
  • Proficient with tax preparation software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • EA or CPA designation is a plus, but not required
