As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused support. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or public agencies as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns to report.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate service areas.
• Document routine activity and incidents in written reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives, and support orderly operations during high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
