Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in high-level SQL use and proficient database management skills. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business processes, translating requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring effective database management. Additionally, experience in Power Apps is a major bonus for applicants.

Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis and Reporting :

o Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and data requirements.

o Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

o Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.

2. Database Management :

o Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases.

o Optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.

o Implement and enforce data security and integrity measures.

3. Requirement Gathering and Documentation :

o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

o Translate business needs into technical specifications for database development.

o Maintain detailed documentation of database structures, processes, and procedures.

4. Power Apps Integration :

o Leverage Power Apps to develop solutions that enhance business processes.

o Integrate Power Apps with existing databases and systems.

o Provide expertise in optimizing Power Apps for efficiency and user experience.

5. Collaboration and Communication :

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives.

o Collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions aligned with business goals.

6. Quality Assurance :

o Conduct thorough testing of database systems and applications to ensure accuracy.

o Identify and troubleshoot data anomalies, ensuring data quality and consistency.

o Implement and oversee data validation processes.

7. Continuous Improvement :

o Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

o Propose and implement improvements to existing database structures and processes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Experience with ETL processes and data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing.
• Strong experience with Power BI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation :  Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
