Marine Design Engineering Intern (MARIN005711)

Position Summary

Gain experience in a professional engineering setting. Interns will be expected to perform the duties of Design and Project Engineers to the extent possible based on their level of curriculum completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and apply problem-solving methods to support new product development and / or sustain the production of existing designs
• Create designs and drawings based on engineering specifications and customer requirements
• Write / Review / Edit test plans and engineering reports in support of new and existing programs
• Assist in qualification test programs
• Assist manufacturing and the test lab with creating tooling designs for new and existing designs
• Troubleshoot processes and tooling to resolve manufacturing and test issues
• Maintain accurate orderly project records including design and test data customer specifications directives etc.
• Interact with internal customers as an engineering representative
