CNC Machining Center Operator I
(Hiring for Day and Night Shifts – Night Differential Available)
Position Summary :
Join our team as a CNC Machining Center Operator I, producing precision metal components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries. In this entry-level role, you will operate CNC machinery, performing standard operations such as drilling, milling, turning, and boring, following established programs and setups. This role is ideal for candidates with up to 2 years of experience, offering hands-on training and skill development under the guidance of experienced team members.
Primary Responsibilities :
Operate CNC machines under the supervision of a lead operator or supervisor, following established procedures.
Perform inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Monitor machine operation to maintain proper function and identify potential issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including checking and maintaining machine fluids and performing routine maintenance.
Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to support smooth production flow.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies consistently.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
Proficient in basic reading, writing, and math.
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in CNC operations.
Working Conditions :
Typical manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and shop conditions.
May require evening or overtime work.
Adherence to safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
