Astrana Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our outpatient Gastroenterology clinic in Alhambra.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of medical staff, including physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to support efficient clinical operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care quality, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Plan and conduct staff orientation, training, and ongoing professional development programs.
  • Oversee and maintain patient medical records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Foster effective communication among medical staff, administrative personnel, and patients to support smooth workflow and collaboration.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, staffing concerns, and patient care issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present regular reports on clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

    • Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in a healthcare supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of clinical operations , patient care standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities to work with staff, providers, and patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of budget management and resource planning within a clinical environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality patient care and promoting a positive, team-oriented work culture.
  • Bilingual Mandarin / Cantonese fluency is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in Gastroenterology is a plus.

    • Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position is an onsite role working out of our outpatient GI clinic. The office is located at 333 S Garfield Avenue #A, Alhambra, CA 91801.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is between $69,000 - $74,000 annually. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
