Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner physician employment in Washington : Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI) is seeking a full-time, experienced Oncology nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its team. In this role, you will function as an Oncology provider imbedded within a busy cancer center / infusion center, which has an additional research-focused infusion area. Candidates will be expected to independently manage urgent oncology situations and provide real time nurse / patient education about cancer therapies and diagnoses. Practitioners in the SCI Treatment Center will also be responsible to triage patients from Oncology clinics via an Immediate Care Clinic which is imbedded within the Treatment Center. • Help build upon a brand-new Immediate Care Oncology clinic model with other APCs
• Work with ongoing rotation to provide 7 days per week coverage at the outpatient infusion center.
• Function independently as an extension of treating physician
• 2 to 5 years' experience highly preferred
• Compensation is between $58.75 and $73.06 per hour
• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality / service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
