In this role you must demonstrate the ability to listen to the customer's needs and recommend a solution based upon provided information. You will handle incoming calls from customers regarding technical issues for standard product offerings and solutions and then generate and manage orders / quotations as well as technical support issues and tracking and follow-up on sales opportunities.

This position is a DIRECT HIRE, long-term need for our client and must be worked on site.

Salary Range is $60-75K plus bonus

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• AAS / BS Degree and 2 years+ experience in Engineering or Technical field and experience in Application Engineering and handling customer needs (will consider non-degreed candidates with appropriate experience)
• Ideally experience with flow measurement or similar products, including regulators, pumps / systems, liquid flow devices, STRONG mechanical aptitude, metrology and / or calibration
• Must be able to learn product line quickly and attain technical accuracy of products
• Must have strong oral / written communication skills, positive attitude and be able to work with customers in pre-sales / post-sales environment, promote products and provide customer solutions
• Proficiency in order entry, order reviews, using CRM for tracking leads and closing opportunities, post sales installation and technical support
• Proficiency with MS WORD, EXCEL, CRM and ability to work with and learn other applications
