If you are seeking a night shift role that provides variety, challenge, and growth within a single hospital, the Internal Float Pool is for you. You will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units . Each shift offers new experiences and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
What You'll Do :
Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Quickly adapt to different unit workflows while upholding clinical excellence.What We're Looking For :
Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).Flexibility : Willingness to adhere to the following schedule every 6 weeks :2 Fridays2 Mondays1 WeekendTraining & Skills :
RNs are trained in :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)NIHSS (Stroke Scale)IV UltrasoundCharge Nurse cross-training for multiple units and leadership skill development.What You'll Get :

Your role will involve providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care per established standards and protocols. You will leverage evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and skilled communication to enhance patient safety and experience.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.Engage patients and families in care planning and maintain therapeutic relationships.Recognize significant changes in patients’ conditions and respond appropriately.Develop discharge plans collaboratively through an interdisciplinary approach.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and address learning needs of patients and families.Participate in process improvement initiatives and professional development activities.Licenses & Certifications :
Registered Nurse license in the practice state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Degrees :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Demonstrate a patient-centered focus, effective communication skills, critical decision-making ability, and proficiency in technology.
