A company is looking for a Nuclear Methods Engineer to support nuclear analysis methods for design and licensing of a demonstration MCFR reactor.

Key Responsibilities

Develop neutronics methods for fast spectrum molten salt reactor analysis

Implement nuclear analysis methodologies using Python software

Conduct core design activities including fuel management strategies and reactivity analyses

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 6-10 years of relevant experience

Experience in nuclear design / analysis methodologies, particularly for fast-neutron reactors

Proficiency with radiation transport software; experience with MCNP or OpenMC preferred

Programming experience in any language, preferably in scientific computing

Familiarity with software development tools and experience in an NQA-1 compliant QA environment is preferred
