Facility : Comprehensive medical center with a network of healthcare providers offering a wide range of services.

Opportunity :

Looking for a locum NP / PA to provide PRN coverage!
PRN : 7-5 shifts; Call schedule : 5p-8a
Call rotation : 1 : 3
No weekends!
Practice Setting : Inpatient Behavioral Health, Hospital Consults
Average number of patients per day : 10-15
Patient Age Demographic : Adolescent - Geriatric
Total number of beds : 28 adult, 8 adolescent
Child / adolescent ages to be seen : 8-17
Ages 8+
PA will be working autonomously
Supervising Physician present during assignment : YES, in some instances, the psychiatrist is remote via telehealth
EMR : Cerner
Level III Trauma
Credentialing Timeframe : 30-90 days

Diagnose

Performing Admission Histories and Psychiatric Assessments

Performing Physicals

Performing Rounds

Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Studies

Prescribing Medications

Managing Ongoing Care Through Consultation with the Psychiatrist

Ordering Referrals

Administrative Duties

Coordination of Care

Addiction Education / Management
