Job Summary and Responsibilities
Primary responsibility of this position is to solicit annual and major gifts in support of identified priorities and goals of Dignity Health - East Valley Hospitals. The Gift Officer will be responsible for establishing close working relationships with prospects and donors as well as the members of the board of Dignity Health East Valley Foundation, the hospital's community board, senior management and physicians to meet annual fundraising goals.

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Gilbert, the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, is a 198-bed, not-for profit hospital with more than 1,300 team members and almost 900 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. In 2014, Phoenix Children's Hospital launched a 22-bed pediatric unit inside the hospital. Mercy Gilbert opened in 2006 and has been a vital part of the growing community.
