Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab in Sacramento is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The position requires adherence to all procedural protocols and best practices to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Provide radiation safety and monitoring with a supplied badge.
• Maintain and document patient data using Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics.
• Assist in various high acuity procedures such as TAVR, Mitraclip, and others.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including one night per week and up to every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• High preference for candidates with scrub experience.
• Passing the Dysrhythmia exam through UNA within 24-48 hours after signing the contract.
• Two supervisory references from previous modalities, one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years.
