Position Title : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Syracuse NY

Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks

Schedule : MondayFriday 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM Must work one weekend every other month

Pay Rate : $42 $52 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality evaluation and treatment services for individuals with communication cognitive language speech and swallowing disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Manage and schedule patient caseloads based on clinical priorities.
  • Educate patients families and staff on communication and swallowing disorders as well as therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation department.
  • Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and professional reports.
  • Participate in community education and outreach activities related to speech and language pathology.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Speech Pathology Required
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year Required
  • New York State Licensure in Speech Pathology Preferred
  • Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent Required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical fellowship experience
