Joril Medical Corp, a primary care facility in the city of Victorville, is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who will provide essential care to patients under the supervision of PAs and a Medical Doctor.

Key Responsibilities

Provision of Basic Care : Taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting patients when the need arises.

Support Staff Role : Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, as well as ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support thereafter in continuation of care.

Documentation and Records : Keeping accurate and detailed patient records that are essential. Such as reports / records on patient care, changes in patient conditions.

Communication and Patient Education : Communicate effectively with the healthcare teams and patients to provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, medications, specialized care (geriatrics, pediatrics or maternity) and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

Education : Completion of a state-approved educational program for vocational nursing, typically lasting about one year.

Licensure : A current and valid LVN license to practice in the state where they work.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is often required.

Skills Required

Clinical Skills, interpersonal skills and multitasking skills particularly in nursing, administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.
