General Accounting Manager (HYBRID) (role #1)

Are you ready to lead a small staff in the exciting field of regulatory accounting? Our client is seeking a General Accounting Manager to join the Finance Organizational Unit. In this role, you'll apply technical skills and expertise to general and / or regulatory accounting, analyze transactions, develop financial reports, and drive process improvements. This position is hybrid. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $155,000 per year.

Responsibilities :

• Manage customer revenue accounting and reporting.
• Review and interpret regulatory agency advice letters and decisions, assessing financial and accounting impacts.
• Lead the accounting analysis team, providing sound explanations and approving journal entries.
• Coordinate and support accounting efforts related to decisions and recorded cost information for regulatory proceedings.
