• Effectively collaborate as part of an agile team in the delivery of software components to includes participation in sprint ceremonies such as backlog refinement sprint planning daily stand up retrospectives etc.
• Demonstrates strong architecture and design skills building high-performing APIs using AWS services and Java.
• Design and implement highly scalable interactive application with high usability.
• Collaborate with product teams internal and external to iterate ideas on data products services feasibility trouble shoot functional and performance issues.
• Rapidly iterate on product ideas build prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Provide requirements analysis software design development coding testing and debugging of custom solutions.
• Work with DevOps Engineers to enable automated deployments to AWS into existing CI / CD pipelines or through the creation and use of new CI / CD pipelines.
• Document solutions and specifications in Confluence create and complete user stories via Jira and collaborate with team members and stakeholders via Slack.
• Collaborate with other teams to leverage available platforms infrastructure as code templates and to continuously optimize application performance.
• Create back-end components using Java Maven or Gradle Junit Spring Boot Docker Git Jenkins etc.
• Perform peer reviews of application code and mentor junior developers.
