Job Overview

Wenger Contracting Inc., one of the premier residential design-build firms in our area, is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you'll lead high-end remodeling projects from start to finish, coordinating day-to-day operations, managing field crews and subcontractors, and ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship. A remodeling Lead Carpenter at Wenger Co is a true jack of all trades - from tile and drywall to minor roofing and mechanical alterations, no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential remodeling projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate daily and weekly tasks for field crews and subcontractors.
• Perform high-quality carpentry, framing, trim, and finish work.
• Execute tile work, drywall repairs, minor roofing, and small mechanical tasks (e.g., ductwork, exhaust vents).
• Ensure all work complies with design specifications and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers.
• Track materials, tools, and schedules using digital tools and apps.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Solve problems efficiently and proactively during all project phases.
