Description :
This position will involve working in multiple locations.
The Occupational Therapist / Certified Hand Therapist will assume a dynamic leadership role on interdisciplinary patient care teams.
This individual will identify patient care needs and develop a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient.
The therapist will provide a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice.
Education and support will be provided to patients and their families.
The therapist will facilitate continuing care planning.
Participation in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities is expected.
The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service.
Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department is essential.
The work environment is focused on teamwork and patient-centered care.
All evaluations and treatments will be one-on-one sessions for 60 minutes with no double booking.
The patient population will include a wide variety of post-surgical and non-surgical hand and elbow injuries.
The facility is equipped with special tools and modalities for optimal patient care.
