Our teams design, produce and market a complete range of inertial sensors based on state-of-the-art MEMS technology , such as inertial measurement units (IMUs), attitude and heading reference systems (AHRSs) and inertial navigation systems with integrated GPS / GNSS (INS / GNSS).

Mission

As part of our rapid expansion , we are looking for a Field Application Engineer to strengthen our teams.

Reporting directly to the Regional Support Manager you will be responsible for assisting our customers from product qualification, implementation to troubleshooting, as well as participating in the qualification and internal testing of new solutions. You will be part of a team of 2 people.

Your Principal Missions :

Provide before sales support

Prepare and conduct onsite product demonstrations and customer tests,

Manage test and support equipment including product check, scheduling,

Assist sales team with technical inputs for bid answering,

Attending in dedicated Trade Shows and Conferences to support the Sales team.

After sales support

Online support (Desk, Team-Viewer, mail, phone, ...),

On site assistance for installation and commissioning,

Onsite or remote customer training,

Manage and Follow equipment return for tests and repairs.

Other internal duties

Technical document writing and reviewing (Documentation, Technical articles, test reports, etc.),

New products / firmware / software test and review,

Link between sales, customers and R&D to provide feedback about bugs and wished improvements.

This position will require frequent travels.

Profil

A solid traning / education in geomatics or embedded systems engineering, with knowledge, ideally, in navigation and positioning systems (land, air and maritime).

You have an  experience of minimum 2 years in a similar position.

Measurement analysis tools (preferably Octave / Matlabb), Positioning & Navigation systems (GNSS, Inertial, Imagary, Lidar, etc. ..) is no secret to you ?

You are fluent in English.

Salary conditions : 65 000 $ - 100 000 $.
