Quality Engineer

Job Title : Quality Engineer

Location : Santa Ana, CA

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 AM - 1 : 30 PM

Compensation : Starting at $80,000+ annually , based on experience and qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards in product quality and process control. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in quality systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance (SQA), including vendor ratings and audits
• Review contracts and specifications before and after awards
• Conduct internal audits and support QMS metric reporting
• Maintain calibration systems and measurement tools
• Lead or support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) decisions
• Perform Gage R&R studies and statistical process control (SPC)
• Conduct Cp / Cpk analysis and process validations
• Supervise and support the inspection team
