Vehicle Washer / Utility Worker

Transdev is proud to offer a competitive compensation package of minimum $16.00 maximum $24.00. Benefits include :

  • Vacation : minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days : 5 days
  • Holidays : 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities :

  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of fleet vehicles, ensuring they are free from debris, spills, and stains to provide a safe and pleasant environment for passengers.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and safe.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the fleet yard and maintenance areas.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors, walls, and windows.
  • Regularly inspect and clean restrooms, replenishing supplies as necessary, and maintaining cleanliness to high standards.
  • Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock for daily operations.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the entire facility, including parking areas and other common spaces.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Eligible and able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement within 30 days of hire.
  • Computer literate
  • Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Stand for extended periods (up to 68 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise
