Job Summary
A rapidly growing home improvement company is seeking a motivated and people-focused Retail Marketing Manager to lead local retail marketing and event-based lead-generation efforts. This role is responsible for developing retail partnerships, managing in-store marketing initiatives, supporting event marketing activities, and driving high-quality sales appointments through community engagement.
As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will hire, train, and guide a team of retail marketers across multiple locations while shaping local marketing strategy and ensuring strong ROI. Responsibilities
Engage customers in retail settings and schedule in-home consultations for the sales teamBuild, train, and develop a team of retail marketers across multiple store locationsManage staff schedules, payroll approvals, and performance reviewsCreate and maintain local retail partnerships to increase brand exposureOversee execution of in-store marketing programs and retail eventsSupport event marketing strategies, including home shows, festivals, and sponsorshipsEvaluate data and track KPIs related to lead volume, conversion rates, and ROIPartner with leadership to set monthly, quarterly, and annual goalsContribute to social media and culture-focused content as neededEnsure consistent brand representation and high-quality customer experiencesQualifications
2+ years of experience in retail, event marketing, field marketing, or lead-generation rolesPrior management or team-lead experienceComfortable working weekendsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationStrong communication skills and the ability to engage the public confidentlyCapable of hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance managementExperience in restaurant, hospitality, or customer-facing environments strongly preferredAbility to stand, walk, and interact with customers for extended periodsCompensation & Benefits
