Hematologist Oncologist opening in Fargo, ND

Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a BC / BE Hematologist Oncologist to join a dynamic team in Fargo, ND!

Highlights :

• Join a team of 4 MDs and 3 APC's, with anticipated future growth / expansion
• Work alongside a caring and attentive team, including nutrition support, a social worker, nurse navigators, behavioral therapists, certified cancer care physical therapists and lymphedema specialists
• Consultative Call Only : Hospitalists handle admissions and overnight coverage
• Manage an average of 10-12 follow-up visits and 2-4 new patients per day
• Call Schedule : Approximately 8-10 days per month
• Provide care one day per week / month (depending on the week) to other regional clinics
• Access to Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Genetic Counseling and Palliative Care
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences
• Utilize telemedicine / TCON / Virtual Visits and community cancer centers to extend our reach
• Benefit from our NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant, providing access to cutting-edge clinical trials
• Program is recognized as an Integrated Network Cancer Center Program (INCP) accreditation by the Commission on Cancer and we hold a certification from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) accredited by the American College of Surgeons
