Overview

As a Maintenance Technician on 2nd or 3rd shift at our manufacturing plant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations across the facility. You will respond to work orders assigned by the Maintenance Scheduler and perform a range of preventative and general maintenance tasks. This position offers an opportunity to apply your maintenance skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Perform electrical and other general maintenance of building and grounds
• Respond to and resolve work orders assigned by the Maintenance Scheduler in a timely manner
• Inspect and diagnose equipment issues, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
• Assist with installation and setup of new machinery and equipment within the facility

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with mechanical systems and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Capability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in relevant software and diagnostic tools

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
