[job_card.job_description]Must have a full / active MD license. Minimum of three years relevant experience. An active unrestricted Texas license. Board Certified Physician. Visit facility to see individuals and provide specialized treatment and collaborate with facility's PCPs and nurses for wound care management. Manage pressure ulcers, infectious wounds, injury wounds,or any wounds that have failed improvement with primary care management. Perform services in a timely manner and as necessary for the health and welfare of patients. Assess patients on a weekly basis or as needed. Meet the standard required by the facility's Medical Director. Deliver high quality wound care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities served by the facility in accordance with current accepted medical practices. Be knowledgeable of methods and procedures in general medicine and of the principle of development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment. Be skilled in the care and treatment of patients and in the use of medical diagnostics and wound care services. Provide progress notes it documentation of assessment and plan for each patient evaluated for review. provide a log sheet each time a service is performed.
