At 30hop, every team member plays a key role in delivering an exceptional Guest experience built on teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail. Bartenders are the face of the bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing polished, professional service to Guests seated at the bar and in the dining room.

Our bar is a focal point of the restaurant. Cleanliness, setup, and presentation are key to keeping it inviting and reflecting the premium service we provide. Bartenders are responsible for making high-quality cocktails, maintaining smooth service, and supporting the dining room when needed.

30hop is a Midwest-based, full-service American bar and kitchen with multi-million dollar locations. Established in Iowa, we’ve steadily expanded into multiple states. Starting Pay for fully trained Bartenders: $4.35/hour + tips (averaging $18–$25/hour with tips, paid out nightly)

Schedule: Full & part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Emphasis on weekend availability.

Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge bar Guests within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
• Serve all bar Guests according to the Beverage Menu, showcasing expert knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other offerings.
• Accurately and promptly fill cocktail orders for the dining room, ensuring all servers receive their drinks in a timely manner.
• Follow the Steps of Service meticulously to provide each Guest with consistent, high-quality service.
• Anticipate Guest needs and provide proactive, seamless service throughout their visit.
• Engage with Guests to create memorable experiences that reflect 30hop's polished yet energetic atmosphere.
• Maintain the bar as a central feature of the restaurant, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Complete opening, running, and closing sidework to ensure the bar area is always ready for service and up to 30hop standards.
• Process and deliver beverage orders accurately, even when working with servers to fulfill dining room requests.
• Present and process Guest checks efficiently, ensuring accurate payments and offering friendly, professional farewells.
• Ensure cleanliness of all bar tools, glassware, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Other duities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prior experience as a bartender is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, with a passion for mixology.
• Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
