• Position: Science Teacher
• Location: California
• Employment Type: Full-time

• Total Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week
• Duration of Contract: New School Year 202526

Responsibilities

• Plan develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards and the schools curriculum
• Design hands-on experiments and activities that promote inquiry-based learning and student engagement
• Encourage curiosity and critical thinking through exploration of life earth and physical sciences
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and varying ability levels
• Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative tools and provide constructive feedback
• Integrate technology lab equipment and multimedia tools to enhance scientific understanding
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support interdisciplinary and project-based learning initiatives
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory and classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students parents and staff to promote academic success and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field required
• Masters degree in Education or Science preferred
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Science (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with science focus required
• Previous experience teaching science at the elementary or middle school level preferred
• Strong understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to inspire students through creativity enthusiasm and a hands-on approach to learning
• Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction
