[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM 36 or 48-hour weekly options available (no overtime until after 48 hours if accepting 48-hour schedule) Patient ratios of 5-6 : 1, may flex up to 7 : 1 in extreme cases Every other weekend required Block scheduling available (Friday / Saturday / Sunday or Saturday / Sunday / Monday) Must have minimum 2 years nursing experience with required orthopedic experience Epic charting system experience required First-time travelers accepted if they have Epic experience Required certifications : BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale Preferred certifications : ACLS, charge nurse experience, Level I trauma experience Must pass EKG testing prior to start Float requirement to other med-surg units within facility based on staffing needs Maximum 7 days RTO allowed (no holiday RTO permitted) Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Care for orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients Fast-paced unit requiring strong pain management skills Customer service-oriented approach required Skills include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, PCA management Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week 8-10 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start Referral bonus
