Position Purpose

Compiles and maintains control records and related files. Releases blueprints, issues labels, work instructions, drawings, and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Examines documents such as blueprints, drawings, labels, change orders, work instructions and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
• Work with document originators or department liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
• Organize and standardize files.
• Create and edit job files / cycle cards and posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
• Assist in optimizing the Bill of Materials, standard costs and ISO documents.
• Maintains related files.
• Prepares requests for reproduction of documents.
• Updates software with current revision for training
• Creates and manages ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) through IQMS
• Creates and manages Finished Device labeling and verification.
• Manages Calibration including schedule, vendor management and internal calibrations.
• Follow all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications / Requirements

Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
