Data Scientist

Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a full time position with a client located in Maryland.

Location : 100% Remote, but would prefer candidates to be in Maryland

Salary : $150-$185K

• 7-10 years (or 3-6 years) hands-on experience with Data Science
• PhD in technical field that commonly includes programming (e.g., electrical eng, industrial eng, math, physics, aerospace, statistics)
• Familiar with AI Governance rules to develop AI Governance strategy related to AI model local validation, ongoing monitoring, bias assessment, model card development, etc.
• Clinical data experience is preferred
• Remote-eligible position, but prefer if candidate located in Maryland for on-site visits with clinical stakeholders
• Focus on turning data products into IP – patents, publications, conferences, etc.
• Guidelines for Suitable Candidates Must be proficient in R or Python, plus SQL (rate skill set out of 10)
