Engineering Supervisor

Job Description Summary

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. In the absence of the Director of Engineering, the Supervisor will assume the hotel's operating aspects for the Engineering department.

General Requirements

• Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Provides administrative support to the department, including but not limited to ordering supplies, submitting and tracking purchase orders, communicating with vendors regarding pending invoices, scheduling, and providing oversight and coordination with scheduled PMs ( preventive maintenance) for guestrooms and hotel equipment.
• Demonstrates reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, follow-through on tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Attend all hotel required meetings and training.

Pay Range

Pay range $30.00-35.00 per hour. The base pay offered may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and specific / overall experience.
