Aircraft Maintenance Systems Engineer
Lockheed Martin's RMS team is building the next-generation air-mobility platform for the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). We need a seasoned Aircraft Maintenance Systems Engineer who can provide hands-on field technical support, ensure avionics readiness, and drive rapid problem resolution for our mission-critical aircraft. This position will require training of approx. 6-12 months on a TDY to Owego, NY location. Upon completion of training, the permanent position will be based in Amarillo, TX.
First assignment will be TDY to : Lockheed Martin - RMS 1801 State Route 17C Owego NY Permanent location : Bell Textron Inc., 10201 Airport Blvd # 181, Amarillo, TX 79111
Primary Responsibilities :
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft avionics systems
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain associated aircraft avionics components, subsystems, and test equipment
- Solve maintenance problems using wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, technical orders, and performed time compliance technical orders, time changes, and one-time inspections
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Complete aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation
- 30% travel is expected for this position.

Basic Qualifications :
