A day in the field

Your morning starts with a route to a local customer in the Dallas–Fort Worth or San Antonio–Austin area. Your laptop and company phone are synced, the car allowance keeps you on the road, and your fuel is covered so you can focus on what matters : bringing top-tier CNC machines back to peak performance.

By mid-day, you’re installing a CNC machining center, troubleshooting a hydraulic issue on a turning center, or walking a team through best practices so they can run confidently after you leave. Paperwork is streamlined so you spend more time with machines and customers—and less time behind a screen. Most weeks wrap with minimal nights away, thanks to primarily local travel.

What you’ll tackle

  • Perform field service, new installs, and preventive maintenance on CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with precision.
  • Resolve customer issues, provide sales support, and deliver some on-site training.
  • Communicate clearly with operators, supervisors, and management across varied environments.
  • Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times.
  • Own every service case and project; maintain customer records and technical documentation accurately.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.
