Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Ortho Trauma position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an orthopedics and trauma medical-surgical unit
  • Hospital setting caring for orthopedic and trauma patients
  • 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and trauma
  • Must submit complete application and verifications including references and copies of certifications
  • No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment

    • Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in orthopedic or trauma Med / Surg nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required for consideration; Canadian SSNs not accepted
  • Date of birth required for consideration
