Summary :
Leads the oversight of expansive IT application systems crucial to the functioning of the Cancer Center. Oversees the application support team and ensures the holistic well-being of IT applications while upholding the highest standards of the IT SDLC. Remains at the forefront of application roadmaps, upcoming functionalities, and releases notes for upgrades. Integrates advancements into the existing environment. Demonstrates mastery in application licensing, overseeing streamlined true-up procedures and contributing to contract negotiations for support and maintenance extensions. Plays a pivotal role in shaping IT governance procedures, manages the capacity of the application support team in alignment with the agreed-upon prioritization of application projects. Collaborates closely with IT infrastructure and IT security counterparts to guarantee the currency and optimal functionality of infrastructure and associated security controls. Assumes an active role in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for system enhancements and spearheads significant IT installation ventures, acting as the primary resource manager for application implementation and support personnel. Fosters seamless collaboration with the IT Service Desk and ensures the formulation and execution of comprehensive Level 1 and Level 2 support strategies for the array of applications under our care. The successful candidate will have Workday experience.
The position has the hybrid option of being on campus 2 weeks per month and then remote 2 weeks.
Starting salary is $138,234.
Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience
1. Doctorate degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time computer application systems support, systems development lifecycle, or application programming or related experience; or
2. Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time computer application systems support, systems development lifecycle, or application programming or related experience; or
3. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time computer application systems support, systems development lifecycle, or application programming or related experience; or
4. Associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of ten (10) years of full-time computer application systems support, systems development lifecycle, or application programming or related experience; or
5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency and the equivalent of twelve (12) years of full-time computer application systems support, systems development lifecycle, or application programming or related experience.
