Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse II delivers professional nursing care within a designated unit and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient services. This role requires sound clinical judgment, patient education capabilities, and leadership in supervising support staff and mentoring new team members.
Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Practice
- Incorporate patient history and support systems into care planning
- Assess learning needs of patients and families
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families
- Recommend and execute appropriate nursing interventions
- Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient outcomes
- Provide age-appropriate care with demonstrated clinical competence
