Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist Outpatient Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area

Details / Requirements :

Need is for a combination of child and adolescent and adult outpatient coverage starting ASAP and ongoing for 5 days / 40 hours a week. Onsite candidates only. No remote tele psychiatry.

For adults, client allows 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups. For children and adolescents, client allows 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow ups.

Age range for children and adolescents are 6 - 17 years and for adults it's 18 and up.

Hours : 8 : 30am-5pm Monday-Friday.

No call.

Requires a double board Psychiatrist in general psychiatry and child & adolescent.

Credentialing of the locum tenens Psychiatrist takes approximately 2 weeks which includes a requirement for each doctor to take a personality test.

Electronic medical record system, so candidates must be computer savvy.

Prefers 3 to 6 month minimum assignments.
