An in-house infusion suite can accommodate up to 10 patients. UPMC Hamot uses the latest endoscope technology to help diagnose disease in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. New high-definition technology provides physicians with sharper images and better contrast. UPMC Hamot is the only hospital in the region currently using this state-of-the-art equipment. The UPMC Hamot GI lab is a designated ASGE Center of Excellence. Candidates should have a broad gastroenterology skill set with a willingness to learn new techniques, participate in new procedures and evolve as a gastroenterologist ERCP not required but preferred. Position Highlights

• Bayfront Digestive Disease, established in 1984, is part of UPMC Hamot u2019s Center for Digestive Health. The practice is focused on the management of digestive disorders in adults and pediatrics (12 years and older) and includes five physicians, thirteen advance practice providers, along with a support staff of 35.

About the Community

UPMC Hamot located in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Gastroenterologist. Bayfront Digestive Disease offers the following procedures : Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, BRAVO, Capsule Endoscopy, Radiofrequency ablation therapy (HALO®), Radiofrequency (Stretta®), Infusion therapy, and Hepatitis C treatment. Candidate can expect approximately 80% inpatient / procedures and approximately 20% office.
