Penmac Staffing is seeking candidates for their Electrical Assembler opportunity with a local Manufacturing company. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate.  Pay Rate : $20.00 / hr Work Schedule : Full-time, 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 3 : 25pm-11 : 55pm; Friday 1 : 15pm-9 : 45pm) Location : Springfield, MO Electrical Fabricator Responsibilities :

  • Fabricate electrical equipment according to drawings.
  • Receive components and confirm against drawing and / or list of materials or quality standards.
  • Solder, fit, and assemble components.
  • Fabricate specialty parts.
  • Recommend improvements.
  • Conduct operations in a safe manner.
  • Follow all safety rules and policies.
  • Inspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested.
  • Audit equipment against drawings as requested.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment.
  • Support start-up and equipment repair as requested.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems as requested.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned.

Requirements for the Electrical Fabricator :

  • Shift flexibility for both 1st and 2nd shift.
  • Required to travel internationally and domestically.
  • Education : High School Diploma / GED Certificate; training in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls highly desirable.
  • Work Experience : Two (2) years previous fabrication experience preferred
  • Other Requirements :  Ability to perform simple math equations.Proficiency in reading a tape measure.Excellent problem-solving skills.Exceptional verbal communication skills.Proficiency with the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools.Self-motivated.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.Ability to lift 50 pounds.
