Technician I - Logistics

The Technician I - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• The Technician I - Logistics will have to obtain and maintain DOT Certification
• The Technician I - Logistics will properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
• The Technician I - Logistics will complete and log daily activities including : receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
• The Technician I - Logistics will conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log.
• The Technician I - Logistics will enter material into IES Inventory database.
• The Technician I - Logistics will load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same.
• The Technician I - Logistics will maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
• The Technician I - Logistics will complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• The Technician I - Logistics may require operating both forklifts and company vehicles.
• The Technician I - Logistics will work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
• The Technician I - Logistics will efficiently carry out all task assignments.
