Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at La Prada Family Dentistry and Midtown Family Dentistry. Full time as well as Part time available, schedule is negotiable. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Dental Assistants will prepare the room and sterilize after each dental cleaning.

Dry Shields available.

We are looking for a hygienist to work every Saturday, Work schedule negotiable.

Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and vital sign measurements
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining oral health
- Administer local anesthesia or nitrous oxide as directed by the dentist
- Perform medical coding for dental procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Texas
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

We are looking for a part-time/full-time hygienist to work at our practice every Saturday. The hours are 9-2. We are a very high volume office and looking for flexible hygienist that can do 2-3 prophies per hour with assisted hygiene. Starting pay is $40-60 per hour or a percentage of production we are willing to negotiate. We look forward to speaking with all interested candidates!
